Scraping Daddy MCP Server

A hosted social media scraping MCP server. Ask Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or VS Code

for live public data from TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, X and 20+ platforms.

Server URL: https://mcp.scrapingdaddy.com

  • Remote server over Streamable HTTP. Nothing to install or run yourself.
  • Sign in with your Scraping Daddy account (OAuth). There is no API key to paste.
  • New accounts get 100 free calls.

What you can ask

The server teaches your assistant that "SD" means Scraping Daddy, so you can just ask:

  • "hey SD, how many views did CarryMinati's latest YouTube video get?"
  • "SD, find Reddit discussions about learning Python and summarise the common advice, with links."
  • "SD, compare the follower counts of @natgeo on TikTok and Instagram."
  • "SD, what are the best restaurants in California?"

The assistant picks the right endpoint, calls it with your account's credits and answers from the live data.

Connect your AI app

Claude

  1. Open Settings → Connectors and click Add custom connector.
  2. Name it Scraping Daddy and paste https://mcp.scrapingdaddy.com.
  3. Click Add, then Connect, and sign in.

ChatGPT

  1. Open Plugins, click Add and choose Add custom MCP server.
  2. Name it Scraping Daddy, paste https://mcp.scrapingdaddy.com under Server URL and keep Authentication on OAuth.
  3. Tick I understand and want to continue, then click Create as a plugin.

Claude Code

Then type /mcp, pick scrapingdaddy-mcp and choose Authenticate.

Cursor

Open Cursor Settings → Tools & MCP, click New MCP Server and add:

VS Code

  1. Open the Command Palette and run MCP: Add Server.
  2. Choose HTTP, paste https://mcp.scrapingdaddy.com and name it scrapingdaddy-mcp.
  3. Start the server when VS Code asks, and sign in.

Add a remote MCP server with the URL https://mcp.scrapingdaddy.com. If asked, choose Streamable HTTP and OAuth.

Finding platforms and endpoints is free. Scraping calls use the credits and limits of your Scraping Daddy account, the same as API requests. One question can lead to several calls.

About this repository

This repository documents the hosted server and holds its registry metadata (server.json). The server itself runs at https://mcp.scrapingdaddy.com; there is no code to install.
