Environment variables

  • DESIGNVAULT_API_KEY required secret Per-organization DesignVault API key (dv_live_…). Generate one under Settings → API keys.
  • DESIGNVAULT_BASE_URL Override the API base URL (defaults to https://www.designvault.net). Point at a preview deployment or http://localhost:3000 during development.
  • DESIGNVAULT_ENABLE_WRITE Set to 1/true to register the write tools (create, update, delete). Off by default so a shared key cannot mutate data without explicit opt-in.
