Install

Add this to your client's MCP configuration (Claude Desktop: claude_desktop_config.json; Cursor: .cursor/mcp.json; VS Code and others use the same "mcpServers" shape).

PYPI package scope-analytics-mcp
Claude Code
claude mcp add scope-analytics -e 'SCOPE_API_KEY=<your scope_api_key>' -e 'SCOPE_API_BASE=<SCOPE_API_BASE>' -- uvx scope-analytics-mcp==0.1.6
JSON configuration (Claude Desktop, Cursor, VS Code)

    "mcpServers": {
        "scope-analytics": {
            "command": "uvx",
            "args": [

            }
        }

  • SCOPE_API_KEY secret Optional. A Scope project SECRET key (sk_...). Leave it out: the agent links a project with scope_link_project and you approve it in your browser.

Frequently asked questions

What is Scope Analytics?

Set up, install and query Scope analytics from an AI coding agent (Claude Code, Cursor, etc.).

How do I install Scope Analytics?

It runs on your machine. In Claude Code: claude mcp add scope-analytics -e 'SCOPE_API_KEY=<your scope_api_key>' -e 'SCOPE_API_BASE=<SCOPE_API_BASE>' -- uvx scope-analytics-mcp==0.1.6. For other clients, paste the JSON configuration from this page into their MCP settings.

Does Scope Analytics need an API key?

Yes. It expects SCOPE_API_KEY, which you set in its configuration.

Who maintains Scope Analytics?

It is published by wally827. AI.tn lists it but does not maintain or endorse it.

From the official MCP Registry. Listing is not an endorsement: review a server's code and permissions before giving it access to your data.
