Auth

Preferred: OAuth Connect (no API key in config). This plugin ships:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "testera": {
      "url": "https://mcp.testera.io/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Optional API key: create a key in Testera → Settings → API Keys, then add headers manually:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "testera": {
      "url": "https://mcp.testera.io/mcp",
      "headers": {
        "Authorization": "Bearer tk_<keyId>_<secret>"
      }
    }
  }
}

Privacy & security

  • The plugin does not ship secrets.
  • Auth uses Testera OAuth or your own API key.
  • See Testera privacy / DPA for vendor review docs.

What is Testera?

Free test management over MCP: projects, test cases, plans, runs, environments and tasks.

How do I install Testera?

It runs as a remote server. In Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http testera 'https://mcp.testera.io/mcp'. For other clients, paste the JSON configuration from this page into their MCP settings.

Does Testera need an API key?

Its registry entry lists no required key or secret. Some features may still need an account with the service it connects to.

Is Testera open source?

Yes. Its code is on GitHub under the MIT license.

Who maintains Testera?

It is published by sslugic. AI.tn lists it but does not maintain or endorse it.
