PrismCrawl MCP Server

Connect Claude, Cursor, and other MCP clients to PrismCrawl: live search results, AI answers, products, places, and reviews returned as structured JSON. See the MCP server page for an overview.

PrismCrawl runs this server for you. You don't install anything; you point your MCP client at the endpoint below.

https://api.prismcrawl.com/mcp
TransportStreamable HTTP
AuthenticationOAuth 2.1, or an API key in the x-api-key header
Registry nameio.github.prismcrawl/prismcrawl (listing)
ToolsRead-only search, maps, reviews, and app store tools (full list)

You need a PrismCrawl API key. Sign up at prismcrawl.com and create a key in the dashboard. It's free, and you don't need a card. You need the key whether you connect with OAuth or pass it in a header.

Pricing: at volume, prepaid credit packages bring the price as low as $0.15 per 1,000 successful requests, and failed requests are free. That's 100x cheaper than SerpApi. See pricing.

Why PrismCrawl

  • As low as $0.15 per 1,000 successful requests at volume, 100x cheaper than SerpApi
  • You only pay for successes. Failed calls and tool discovery are free.
  • Free to start: 100 free credits, and you don't need a card
  • No subscription: prepaid credit packages from $5, valid for 90 days
  • One key covers 26 tools: Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, Amazon, Google Maps, Apple Maps, Yelp, Tripadvisor, Google Play, and the Apple App Store
  • Answers from AI search engines: Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, and Bing's AI overview with citations, at no additional charge
  • Live, uncached results: every call fetches fresh data from the source
  • Proven at scale: 99% successful response rate and more than 1 billion SERPs every month
  • See every request: filter your request history by query, provider, status, format, or date. You can check the parameters, timing, and credits for each request, copy it as cURL, rerun it, or download the saved HTML/JSON. Request details are kept for 90 days and the HTML/JSON for 30 days. To skip storing the results of a call, pass zero_trace.
  • Hosted and ready to use: a remote MCP server with OAuth 2.1 that works in Claude, Cursor, VS Code, and any Streamable HTTP client

What it can do

Quick start

  1. Create a free account at prismcrawl.com and create an API key in the dashboard. New accounts get 100 credits, and you don't need a card.
  2. Add the server to your client:

    Claude Code

     claude mcp add --transport http prismcrawl https://api.prismcrawl.com/mcp

    Then run /mcp inside Claude Code and sign in.

    Cursor (~/.cursor/mcp.json)

     {
       "mcpServers": {
         "prismcrawl": { "url": "https://api.prismcrawl.com/mcp" }
       }
     }

    Then open Cursor Settings, find PrismCrawl in the MCP section, and sign in.

    Other clients: add a remote server with the URL above and choose OAuth, or set an x-api-key header.

  3. Ask your assistant something like "Find the top-rated ramen places near Union Square, SF and summarize their recent Yelp reviews."

  • As low as $0.15 per 1,000 successful requests at volume, 100x cheaper than SerpApi
