Sparks MCP

Connect any MCP client (Cursor, Claude, Claude Code, Codex, OpenClaw, Grok Bot, ...) to your Sparks idea notebook. Your agent can find, capture and organize notes, projects and subtasks. There is deliberately no delete tool.

  • Server: https://sparks.6x7.gr/api/mcp (Streamable HTTP, remote, nothing to install)
  • Sign-in: OAuth 2.1 with PKCE and dynamic client registration. Add the URL, approve once in Sparks. Agents without OAuth use the one-tap connect link in skills/connect-to-sparks.

Install

Cursor: install the sparks plugin from the Marketplace, or add to mcp.json:

{ "mcpServers": { "sparks": { "url": "https://sparks.6x7.gr/api/mcp" } } }

Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http sparks https://sparks.6x7.gr/api/mcp, then /mcp → Authenticate.

Codex: add [mcp_servers.sparks] with url = "https://sparks.6x7.gr/api/mcp", then codex mcp login sparks.

Your Sparks idea notebook: read, create and organize notes, projects and subtasks.

How do I install Sparks?

It runs as a remote server. In Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http sparks 'https://sparks.6x7.gr/api/mcp'. For other clients, paste the JSON configuration from this page into their MCP settings.

Does Sparks need an API key?

Its registry entry lists no required key or secret. Some features may still need an account with the service it connects to.

Is Sparks open source?

Yes. Its code is on GitHub under the MIT license.

Who maintains Sparks?

It is published by 6x7gr. AI.tn lists it but does not maintain or endorse it.

From the official MCP Registry. Listing is not an endorsement: review a server's code and permissions before giving it access to your data.
