Environment variables

  • PASTEPILE_API_KEY secret Required for remote memory, and issued with an active subscription. Without it the memory tools run a limited local-only demonstration on this device: up to 3 small memories that are never uploaded, have no link, and do not follow you to another machine. With it, memory is saved on Pastepile, permanent, portable across machines, with version-preserving checkpoints and a higher rate limit.
  • PASTEPILE_API Base URL of the Pastepile instance. Defaults to https://www.pastepile.com.
